Hey everyone,
Here are just a few questions to think about in relation to my presentation on virtual worlds (particularly Second Life) today.
1) Since many people on Second Life tend to stand around while there are many more exciting opportunities available to them, Second Life almost becomes a glorified chat room. Where, then, does the appeal to the massive virtual world lie?
2) There are many worlds in Second Life which restrict what you can and cannot do, how you should dress, talk, etc... Since Second Life promotes itself as a world where you can do what you want, is it directly violating its purpose?
